April Newsletter from Iron Realms Entertainment

Iron Realms Entertainment continues to grow by leaps and bounds. April's newsletter is filled with the latest developments in our games. This month's featured art comes from Maxy on Achaea. His piece, depicting a Shaman, won the December Artisanal contest on Achaea. You can view the work in all its glory here.

AchaeaDwarf
In the month of March, Achaea sustained its increased focus on a variety of interactive roleplaying events, as well as unveiling two new areas for intrepid explorers and hunters. The first of these, the village of Bitterfork, lies deep in the northwest of the continent of Sapience and is populated by the descendants of Ashtani sailors shipwrecked there in generations past. The more recent discovery of a hidden network of tunnels populated by dangerous organised assassins of the Quisalis Mark was precipitated by the murder of Lord Makarta, figurehead of the Champions of the Ivory Mark. Elsewhere in Achaea, a wandering merchant selling suspicious goods played a key role in a jewellery heist in Shallam, but repented and assisted in a raid on his former bandit compatriots to retrieve the jewels. A witchdoctor released a plague upon the Ithmian forests, eventually quelled with the help of the goddess Artemis. An expansion to the Lucretian Athenaeum, the great library of New Thera, was unveiled following a grand ball in the Athenaeum. These and many other storylines played out through the month of March, enlivening and enriching our world, creating new levels of immersive experience, and we promise much more excitement to be unveiled in April.

Lusternia
In Lusternia, as more constructs were released, such as the Black Crypt in Magnagora and the Moon Altar in Serenwilde, Nexus World battles were being fought to destroy them, including some fierce flare ups in aetherspace where aetherships bombarded constructs while fighting each other. In other news, the insane undead priestess Marani Veloske, having accumulated power stolen from countless mortals, made a bid to take over all the cosmic planes, but was finally thwarted by the entirety of the Basin who rose up to oppose her. Meanwhile, in Serenwilde, the Druids of Hartstone uncovered the Mausoleum of Nintoba and developed rituals to purify their Spiritual Flame. In Magnagora, the city founded an execution grounds and hired an executioner to mete out the ultimate punishment for transgressors of the law.

Aetolia
In the month of March, Aetolia continued its process of implementing and improving. Reanimation has been released in full capacity and is successfully incorporating itself into the realm activities. Players celebrated as hundreds of bugs have been fixed and mobile bashing skills have been leveled across the game. A realm-wide, six week long, Mhun vs. Goblin war has come to an end and the theme will be carried on in the Bardics competition for the month of April. Last but not least, an artifact auction pleased the masses. Next month the focus turns to skill upgrades and the hundreds of suggestions made by class liaisons.

Imperian
As ever, the lands of Imperian continue to progress quickly, most notably with a brand new Mortal Approver system for Tradeskills Designs. Prolific mortal designers can now work together in order to approve the many designs that are submitted daily, putting the last step truly in the hands of the Crafters Organisation! In other news, the first day of April found many players logging in and finding themselves shrubbed, though thankfully it wore off, no doubt a joke by the mischievous coder monkeys kept in Dranor's sock-drawer. Timas, the Master of Games, continues to hold his various events on the weekends. This month saw a new version of the Gemhunt, a Capture the Flag event, and the ever-popular Scavenger Hunt. For the first time ever, all twenty Scavenger riddles were solved and items found, by Brydian and Ysaviel, quickly followed by Savreth, Arlith and Nisha! Brydian obviously has been on a lucky streak, jointly winning the grand Quiz with Khalim. The Pantheon's plans are being kept under strict secrecy for the next month, but if the trend continues, the citizens of Aetherius are in for a good time!

Once again, thank you for your continued support and we hope you continue to enjoy our worlds.

Sincerely,

Matt Mihály
