June Newsletter from Iron Realms Entertainment
Iron Realms Entertainment continues to innovate in online games. If you like PvP, commerce, trade, levelling, role-playing, politics, religion, or nearly anything else, our games offer it in ways with which the 'graphical competition' just cannot compete. Check out what we have done this month and see how we stack up.

Aetolia
Aetolia continued work toward balancing combat and classes through the month of June, bringing new skills, exciting changes, and bug fixes to Elementalism, Enchantment, and Ferality. Tailoring also received a significant boost with the addition of several new patterns including packs and kitbags. The imps of Minia had an unexpected invasion, clearing out the pixie rubbish, establishing dominate rule, and renaming their conquered territory as Sehal. Behind the scenes, the administration has quietly been working on exciting new releases for the month of June, including a massive world event, a vast new area, and significant developments in immortal and mortal histories as the artifice continues to be lifted.
Imperian
In a month of Moons, Metalworking and marauding pirate pups
have been keeping players busy! Several new areas have opened, including a wrecked ship complete with a 'crew' of Lycaean
pups playing pirate and swaggering about!
Many thanks
to the dedicated team of mortal builders and Seki,
the Building Mistress for their tireless work. Dozens of new areas have been released through their efforts. Another
new development, the tradeskill of Metalworking, has been introduced to
delighted reception. Crafters can now create items such as
crests, goblets and spectacles. In addition, trained Smiths are able to customise all
items they forge, promising
a future of unique, player designed, armour and weaponry. Finally, unusual celestial alignments have developed, and if the presence of the sun Dom in the sky is any omen, the upcoming Triple Eclipse will be a celebration to remember across the world!
Achaea
The month of May saw the eagerly anticipated arrival of the Year 450 Celebrations in Achaea! Starting off the year on May 6th was a grand Treasure Hunt, where scattered across the land were dozens of giftbags stuffed with gold and other prizes, including artefacts such as gemstone vials and even eagle's wings for some lucky hunters. The celebrations continued through May 19th with hundreds of credits and bushelfuls of gold were given away as event prizes throughout, including a rousing City vs City Capture the Flag, in which the Effigy of Victory was won by the city of Cyrene, and a series of Championship Games with the grand prize of $700 USD or 2500 credits. Achaea congratulates the overall winner of the Games, Jaizsur Ta'sa, who blew away all his competition and emerged the Champion! Amongst other notable events during the Year 450 Celebrations were the Lottery, Master Riddles, a tattoo competition, a land auction, and several events which unveiled new artefacts such as the Shackles of Garash and the horn of plenty, and others leading to the discovery of the new areas Sparrow's Rest and the village of Qurnok. Also revealed during Year 450 was Party Duels expansion to arenas, which allows teams to face each other in arena duels, and the Golden Egg variation of the egghunt game. We saw many bugfixes and code updates in the month of May as well, thanks due in part to the addition of a new volunteer coder to Achaea, and we promise more to come in June.
Lusternia
Dark prophesies that had plagued Lusternia finally came to pass when the realm was thrown into chaos by the revelation that an entire underground continent was hidden beneath the Basin of Life. The Undervault is a huge sprawling addition of 1500+ rooms, designed for high level adventurers and containing a series of major quests. Further, the Undervault is locked in a perpetual war between two races, the kephera and the illithoid, which have also been released as two new player races (bringing the total unique playable races up to 20!). In other news, the Illusions Skillset has been completely revised, breaking apart into two specialisations: Glamours (open to bards), and Phantasms (open to mages). Theaters also were released, a new exciting system wherein performances can be recorded and played back. If all this wasn't enough, the Elder Goddess Lisaera returned to the Serenwilde Forest to help contain a threat uncovered in the hidden hills of Hifarae.
