October Newsletter from Iron Realms Entertainment

With the 10 year anniversary celebrations behind us, we now return to our regular scheduled programming. So without further ado, here is the latest news from the IRE worlds.

Achaea
The first of the long-awaited and eagerly anticipated player-commanded ships have arrived in Achaea! Captain a ship and navigate the treacherous ocean deeps! Our player captains have thus far discovered four new islands: Zaphar Isle, the island of Zanzibaar, Tapoa, and Clockwork Isle, plus an isolated area off the northeastern coast of the continent of Sapience only reachable by ship called Tenwat Prison. For a player's-eye-view of sailing a ship, click here!

In other news, the first official war between player-run city-states under the current war system has been declared, between the long-time adversary cities of Ashtan, the Bastion of the North and Shallam, the Jewel of the East! Meanwhile, strange things seem afoot in the Dreamrealm following a fruitless invasion by the war-god Aegis and the Divine Order of War in search of the child-god Pandemonium...

Lusternia
In Lusternia, the second monk guild was released. Founded in the city of New Celest, the Tahtetso School of Martial Arts teaches monks the art of using the tahto staff. This simple weapon can be quite deadly, especially when the monk masters setting up vibrations on the staff by slamming it against the ground. Like the Shofangi, they learn the skill of Harmony and can choose to study either psionics or acrobatics.

Aetolia
Aetolians cheered with delight this month as Concoctions was released as a general skillset to all living players in Aetolia. In addition, the Druids have learned how to fashion powerful items through Conjuration and the Sentinels can now create powerful poisons with the art of Toxicology. Liaisons have remained the focus in Aetolia with Horsemanship, Reanimation, Sanguis, Subterfuge, Tarot, and Necromancy all receiving upgrades in the past month. With only a few skillsets remaining, rumors abound with what is coming next!

Imperian
An intense month for Imperian, with many Classleads released. Furthermore, the intrepid explorers of the land discovered a variety of new areas, including a lab for investigating Elementals, a new section of the Anaelith caverns, and the home of a race of Ssyslin mutated through necromantic magicks. In other news, the observant amongst the land have spotted evidence of desecration in nature, although precisely what this means is unclear. Time shall tell if it is mere conjecture and fire-side tales, or something more...

If you have not done so recently, be sure to stop in and check out the latest news for our games in development; Midkemia Online and Earth Eternal.
