19.9 ACHAEA'S HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE

For those interested, Achaea is currently running on a dedicated server
(meaning the only thing on it is Achaea) dual Intel Xeon processors, loaded with
memory, and a high-speed front-side bus. It is smokingly fast.

To run Achaea, we use our proprietary Rapture engine. This engine handles all
the networking issues for us, which supports the C-like proprietary scripting
language in which the actual game is written.
