9.37.7 Design Sharing and Passcodes
(See also HELP CRAFTING GUIDELINES, HELP TAILORING, HELP JEWELLERY,
and HELP DESIGN)
The owner is generally the only one who can look at or manipulate a design.
Two other forms of access can be permitted to others as follows:
1) Sharing with passcode -
NEWDESIGN SHARE <design#> YES - the design is now shareable.
NEWDESIGN PASSCODE <design#> <passcode> - sets or changes the passcode.
When you make a design shareable, then anybody with the passcode can do:
- NDS PROBE <design#> <passcode>
- SEW <design#> <passcode>
- CRAFT <design#> <passcode>
If the person enters the proper passcode, then the act (NDS PROBE, SEW,
CRAFT, etc) succeeds.
2) Making a design public -
NEWDESIGN GIVE <design#> TO PUBLIC
- This is permanent.
Once this has been done, the design becomes available to all for
listing (NEWDESIGN LIST, NEWDESIGN LISTPUBLIC), probing, and
crafting/sewing.
