Emoting is a way of making your adventurer act out whatever it is you wish,
from the possible to the ridiculous. Using the command is simple. Simply type:
EMOTE <whatever you wish to do>.

When you emote something, your name is prepended to your actions.
So if Thoth were to enter: EMOTE GLARES SULLENLY
then onlookers would see: Thoth glares sullenly.

Many players choose to create permanent and elaborate emotions for themselves
that they put in aliases or macros, so as to easily use them. We recommend
doing this, in order to better personalise your character.

If you wish to insert the possessive or contraction "'s" after your name in an
emote, simply type EMOTE 's <whatever you wish to come after>.

So if Kered were to enter this: emote 's howl echoes through the trees.
then everyone in the room would see: Kered's howl echoes through the trees.

You can also pre-pend to an emote using ++.

So if Valnurana were to enter: emote withdraws an enormous imaginary bouquet
of flowers ++ opening an invisible box,

everyone in the room would see: Opening an invisible box, Valnurana withdraws
an enormous imaginary bouquet of flowers.

For a more flexible and powerful version, try tmote (HELP TMOTE).

Custom emotes using the EMOTE or TMOTE are intended for ways to express
yourself. They are not to be used in combat and are not an alternative to the
various illusion type skills. Use of emotes for combat messages is against the
rules of PK.
