Gods - Aetolia Online Help
In order to better shape and govern the constituent elements of the world, Varian, either through His direct influence or by setting processes in motion, created the Gods of Sapience. These are powerful and inscrutable beings, paid respect by almost all denizens of Aetolia. Each God or Goddess influences Their own realm, Their purposes and goals differing dramatically from one another. The following Gods have no Divine Order, temple, or shrines. Varian the Celestine Razmael, the Synthesist Oleis, the Infused Galleus, the Voidseer Belakai, the Shaper Of these, only Varian is considered to have an in-character (HELP ROLEPLAY) presence in the world. The rest are administrative Gods who directly influence the world through unseen means. The following Gods walk among the denizens of Sapience today, and have their own Orders, temples, and shrines. Gods of Spirit are closely aligned with guilds and cities commonly believed to be "good" (protecting the sanctity of life, espousing Truth, etc.), though Their motives range from gentle, to intolerant, to sinister and controversial. Gods of Shadow claim as Their domain guilds and cities considered "evil" by most (reveling in murder, partaking in undeath, weaving lies and deception), although they may be anything from outwardly bloodthirsty to subtle and unpredictable.
