10.4.10 The Ministry of Development

Guilds, Houses, and Cities have the ability create their own            
organisational buildings. Buildings are limited to 50 rooms maximum. The
cost of creating new rooms increases based on the number of rooms within
your building. All organisations, with the exception of cities, are only
allowed one building.                                                   


Patrons are permitted to assist with the creation of special entrances  
for buildings.                                                          

The following commands can be used by the following individuals:

   Cities: Main Leader, Minister of Development 
   Duiran: Benandanti, Minister of Development
   Guilds: The Guildmaster
   Houses: House Leader

All buildings must be placed in a city or the Heartwood for Duiran. The 
Minister of Development can place the inital building plot for a cost of
1,000,000 gold which must be in their ministry account.                 

All funds for building are taken from the players inventory, the only   
exception being cities, in which case all their building costs come from
the Development Ministry's account.                                     

Additionally, the following commands are used by those who own personal 
housing. However some building commands will cost credits instead of    
gold for player owned houses.                                           


Commands
---------------------------------------------------------------------
CITY PLACE BUILDING <organisation> <direction> [map direction]
- This command can only be used by the Minister of Development. At 
  a cost of 1,000,000 gold it will place the initial room for the
  new building. The room will automatically be placed on the map in
  the direction indicated. 
  
  If the new room is set to the in or out direction then you must
  indicate in which direction the room will be displayed on the map.

  You cannot place a new building inside of another building.

  A city can only have 40, organisational buildings.

BUILDING LIST [CASTLES]
- This command can be used by the Minister of Development to list
  all buildings located in the city. Adding CASTLES will display
  all players owned buildings.

BUILDING SHOW
- List all the rooms in your building. You must be in the building.

BUILDING BUILD ROOM <dir>
- Build a room in the direction indicated. The cost for rooms varies,
  based on the size of your building.
  
  1 - 10 Rooms : 50,000 gold per room.
  11 - 20 Rooms: 100,000 gold per room.
  21 - 30 Rooms: 150,000 gold per room.
  31 - 40 Rooms: 200,000 gold per room.
  41 - 50 Rooms: 250,000 gold per room.
  
  Player Houses:
  50 Credits : If house is in a city.
  75 Credits : If house is in an NPC village.
  100 Credits: If house is located in the wilderness.

BUILDING DEMOLISH ROOM <dir>
- Destroys the room in the indicated direction. This does NOT return 
  any gold to you. Player houses cannot have rooms destroyed.

BUILDING BUILD EXIT <dir> TO <room god name>
- Build a exit in the direction indicated to the room indicated. This
  costs 10,000 gold. Exits can only be built to rooms that are part
  of your building.

BUILDING DEMOLISH EXIT <dir>
- Destroys the exit in the indicated direction.

BUILDING HIDE EXIT <dir>
- Hide the exit in the direction listed. This will cost 10,000 gold.

BUILDING REVEAL EXIT <dir>
- Reveal a hidden exit in the direction listed.

BUILDING INSIDE         
- Set the room inside. This will cost 10,000 gold.

BUILDING OUTSIDE
- Set the room outside. This will cost 10,000 gold.

BUILDING ENVEFFECTS
- Enables environmental effects in the room you are in. The environments
  in buildings have no special effects and are merely cosmetic unless this
  feature is enabled. This costs 100,000 gold for organisations.
 
  Player Houses
  100 Credits: If house is in a city.
  150 Credits: If house is in an NPC village.
  200 Credits: If house is located in the wilderness.

BUILDING ENVIRONMENT <environment>
- Set the environment for the room you are in. You can see a list of available 
  environments by using BUILDING ENVIRONMENT.
  This will cost 10,000 gold for organisations, or 100,000 if             
  environmental effects have been enabled. 
  
  Player Houses (no effects/effects):
  3 Credits/100 Credits: If house is in a city.
  6 Credits/150 Credits: If house is in an NPC village.
  9 Credits/200 Credits: If house is located in the wilderness.

BUILDING RENAME ROOM <text>
- Set the brief description for the room you are in. The cost is 5,000
  gold. A period will be automatically appended to the name you choose.

BUILDING REDESCRIBE ROOM <text>
- Set the verbose description for the room you are in. The cost is 
  10,000 gold.

BUILDING BUILD DOOR <dir>
- Add a door in the specified direction. This will cost 1000 gold.

BUILDING REMOVE DOOR <dir>
- Remove a door in the specified direction. This is free.

BUILDING ADD LOCK <dir>
- Add a lock to a door in the specified direction. This costs 1000
  gold.

BUILDING REMOVE LOCK <dir>
- Remove a lock from the door in the specified direction. This is
  free.

BUILDING LOCKWORK <key> <direction>
- Add a lock to the key in the specified direction. This costs 1000
  gold.

BUILDING SET <feature>
- This command will turn on several different features for buildings.
  Once set these features cannot be turned off.
  
  - ObscuringFog
    Works like GROVE CONCEAL, will not reveal the name of the room you
    are in to the who list. It will also prevent a number of seeking
    abilities.
    - Buildings    : 5,000,000 Gold
    - Player Houses: 200/300/400 Credits
  
  - HiddenRoom
    Will remove you from the who list while you are in the room.
    - Buildings    : 5,000,000 Gold
    - Player Houses: 200/300/400 Credits
  
  - Slaughterhouse
    Use the BUTCHER command in it.
    - Buildings    : 2,500,000 Gold
    - Player Houses: 100/150/200 Credits
  
  - Private
    You will not be able to be watched or have your tells overheard in
    any form, by anyone, including Gods. Please note that says and 
    other room wide forms of communication are never private.
    - Buildings    : 2,500,000 Gold
    - Player Houses: 200/300/400 Credits
  
  - Stable
    This room will act as a personal stable and can be used to house 
    any mounts you may own. If used for an organisation, it will house
    any mounts for any player with membership in that organisation.
    - Buildings    : 1,000,000 Gold
    - Player Houses: 200/300/400 Credits
  
  - Willpower
    Add willpower regeneration equivalent to level 2 racial
    regeneration. Is cumulative on top of racial and other 
    regeneration. For houses it works for you and those on your allies
    list. For organisations it works for everyone who belongs to that
    organisation.
    - Buildings    : 5,000,000 Gold
    - Player Houses: 250/375/500 Credits
  
  - Endurance
    Add endurance regeneration equivalent to level 2 racial
    regeneration. Is cumulative on top of racial and other 
    regeneration. For houses it works for you and those on your allies
    list. For organisations it works for everyone who belongs to that
    organisation.
    - Buildings    : 5,000,000 Gold
    - Player Houses: 250/375/500 Credits
  
  - Health
    Gives you the equivalent of racial level 2 health regeneration. It
    is cumulative with any other types of regeneration. For houses it
    works for you and those on your allies list. For organisations it
    works for everyone who belongs to that organisation.
    - Buildings    : 5,000,000 Gold
    - Player Houses: 250/375/500 Credits
  
  - Mana
    Gives you the equivalent of racial level 2 mana regeneration. It
    is cumulative with any other types of regeneration. For houses it
    works for you and those on your allies list. For organisations it
    works for everyone who belongs to that organisation.
    - Buildings    : 5,000,000 Gold
    - Player Houses: 250/375/500 Credits
  
  - SolidRock
    Makes a room solidrock, such that no one burrow into that room or
    past it.
    - Buildings    : 500,000 Gold
    - Player Houses: 50/75/100 Credits
  
  - Preservation
    A preservation room that can be used by those with the Venom or
    Toxicology skillset.
    - Buildings    : 10,000,000 Gold
    - Player Houses: 500/750/1000 Credits

  - Conjuration/Enchantment
    A conjuration or enchantment room that can be used by those with
    the respective skillsets for creation of sigils and conjurations.
    - Buildings    : 10,000,000 Gold
    - Player Houses: 500/750/1000 Credits

  - Library
    Makes a room into a library.
    - Buildings    : 500,000 gold
    - Player Houses: 100/150/200 Credits

  - Forge
    Adds a forge to the room for those with the Forging skillset.
    - Buildings    : 5,000,000 Gold
    - Player Houses: 200/300/400 Credits

  - Auctionhouse
    Allows interaction with the global Auction House.
    - Buildings    : 2,000,000 Gold
    - Player Houses: 250/375/500 Credits.


Other features
--------------
These are features that will need to be handled through your Patron.

  - A mob shop
    Adds a mob-owned shop to a room. Can hold 5 items, and 200k per item beyond
    that. The organization does not get proceeds from sales.
    - Buildings    : 2,000,000 Gold

  - Fighting Pit
    Sets a room as a fighting pit. While within the fighting pit, you cannot
    die.
    - Buildings    : 3,000,000 Gold

  - Custom entrance
    A custom entrance for your building. Note, the price quoted may be higher
    depending on specifics requested.
    - Buildings    : 250,000 Gold.
    - Player houses: 150/225/300 credits.

  - Doors (guild sanction)
    A door may be added to your guildhall that will be of use to all players        
    sanctioned by your guild and bar those that are unsanctioned.
    - Guildhalls   : 500,000 Gold. (subsequent doors will have a cumulative cost of 100,000 gold)
