12.9.15 The Village of Tainhelm
Originally a small outpost set up to exploit the rich mining
possibilities of the Siroccian mountains, the Dwarves of Tainhelm built
around the mines to experience once more the freedom of an open sky. The
outpost eventually sprawled out to encompass the entirety of the
surrounding valley, and have taken extreme pains to hide themselves from
the world since their settlement. From the old days, and continuing even
now, they have been mortal enemies with the Orcs of the Siroccian
mountains, so much that they delight in the death of any Orc.
