You may receive a housing plot from your city. To do so, talk to your leaders or those in control of the Ministry of Development or the Chancellor. Once a plot has been assigned to you, you can do the following commands. Keep in mind, building and owning a house can be a considerable investment. HOUSE ROOMS - List all the rooms in your home, including the room names needed for attaching rooms with new exits. HOUSE BUILD ROOM <dir> - Build a new room for your house in the direction. - A house in a city or a council can only have 10 rooms maximum. - A house in a towne can only have 5 rooms maximum. - A new room will cost you 100,000 gold. HOUSE EXPAND WITH TOKEN - If you own a token house you are limited to 10 rooms in your house. You can use another house token to increase the max number of rooms by 10. This only applies to houses purchased with a house token initially. HOUSE EXPAND WITH GOLD - If you own a token house you are limited to 10 rooms in your house. You can use increase the total number of room by 1 for a cost of 750,000 gold. This only applies to houses purchased with a house token initially. HOUSE DEMOLISH ROOM <dir> - This command will destroy a room. HOUSE MOVE ROOM <dir> TO <new dir> OF <room> - This command will move the location of one room in your house to be attached to another room elsewhere in the house. The room that you are trying to move cannot have any exits to other rooms in the house. - Moving a room costs 10,000 gold. HOUSE BUILD EXIT <dir> TO <room name> - This command will allow you to attach rooms within your own house. - Building a new exit will cost 10,000 gold. HOUSE DEMOLISH EXIT <dir> - Destroys an exit in a house. HOUSE BUILD DOOR <dir> - Use this command to attach a door to an existing exit. - This command will cost 1,000 gold. HOUSE DEMOLISH DOOR <dir> - Destroy a door in a direction. HOUSE HIDE EXIT <dir> - This command will hide an existing exit from the view of mortals. - This command will cost 10,000 gold. - NOTE: You cannot hide the entrance to your house from the outside. HOUSE REVEAL EXIT <dir> - This command will reveal any hidden exits. HOUSE ADD LOCK <dir> - This will add a lock to a door. - This will cost 1000 gold. HOUSE REMOVE LOCK <dir> - Remove a lock from a door. HOUSE LOCKWORK <key> <dir> - Using a blank key, you may fashion it to work on a lock in your house. - You can get a blank key from any locksmith with 1000 gold and the REQUEST KEY command. Keys purchased in this manner will be loyal to you. HOUSE SET ENVIRONMENT <type> - You can change the environment of your room to one of 6 types. Urban, Garden, Path, Natural Underground, Constructed Underground, and Freshwater. - Changing the environment of a room will cost 10,000 gold. HOUSE SET ROOM TITLE <description> - This command changes the brief description of the room you are in. - This command will cost 10,000 gold. HOUSE EDIT ROOM DESCRIPTION - This command will take you to the Imperian editor where you can change the verbose description of the room you are in. - This command will cost 10,000 gold. HOUSE SET <INDOORS|OUTDOORS> - This command change your room to indoors or outdoors. - This command will cost 1,000 gold. HOUSE PURCHASE <add on> There are several add ons you can purchase. Choose from the following list: - NEWSROOM - Cost: 50,000 gold - MERCENARY_BOARD - Cost: 100,000 gold - POSTOFFICE - Cost: 250,000 gold - KENNEL - Cost: 250,000 gold - STABLE - Cost: 250,000 gold - FORGE - Cost: 250,000 gold - TROPHYCASE - Cost: 250,000 gold - STOVE - Cost: 250,000 gold - CHESSBOARD - Cost: 250,000 gold - PRIVACY - Cost: 500,000 gold - TRAVELBLOCK - Cost: 500,000 gold - STOREROOM - Cost: 500,000 gold - PANTRY - Cost: 500,000 gold - LIBRARY - Cost: 1,000,000 gold - BLACKJACK - Cost: 1,000,000 gold - ROULETTE - Cost: 1,000,000 gold The storeroom will decrease item decay by half. The trophycase is a very nice way to store the heads of your fallen foes. Use the commands PUT <head> IN CASE and GET <head name> FROM CASE to use it. PROBE CASE will allow you to view your glorious collection. HOUSE REMOVE <add on> - Use this command to remove an add on from a room. You will NOT get your money back. HOUSE HIRE <servant type> - You can currently hire the following kinds of servants - IBEX, HUMGII, or GREMLIN: Costs 250,000. Eats anything. - BUTLER : Costs 500,000. - MAID : Costs 500,000. - COOK : Costs 500,000. Can be assigned to sell 5 items in the pantry. - GARDENER: Costs 500,000. - BARKEEP : Costs 1,000,000. Comes with a bar he can sell 5 items from. - These servants will not move from the room they are assigned to. - Can be submitted to customisation via the CUSTOMISE command. (See HELP CUSTOMISE) - See HELP SHOPBAR for barkeepers. Don't forget to PRICE the item. - See HELP REACTIONS to customise them even more. - Having a garden room allows you to access the FLOWER command to customise your flowers, having a gardener increases the production of that garden. HOUSE ASSIGN <cook> TO <room num> - The cook will sell the items in the pantry. Use the ASK COOK WARES command. - ADD <design> TO PANTRY and REMOVE <design> FROM PANTRY. - PRICE <design> <gold amount> - See HELP SHELVES. HOUSE FIRE <servant type> - You may use this command to fire a servant. HOUSE CACHE - If you have a pantry or bar you have access to a house cache to store the comms needed to sell items the cook and barkeep will sell. HOUSE OUTCACHE|INCACHE - Use to manipulate comms in the house cache. CITY PAY TAXES - Pay your house taxes. CONFIG HOUSE AUTOPAY ON|OFF - Pay your taxes AUTOMATICALLY from your bank account. Using the command with the OFF flag turns off autopay. CONFIG HOUSE MAXTAX <amount> - Set the maximum amount of taxes that you will automatically pay with the autopay command. SELL HOUSE TO <person> FOR <x> GOLD - Sell your house to another player in the house with you. The buyer must have the gold in his/her inventory, and will be asked for confirmation. *If you have placed an artifact house and wish to have it moved from its current location, please issue yourself with the new location you desire. Please note you will be charged 200 credits to move the plot.
