During the Taint when Gloriana Forest was corrupted, so too was its 
counterpart on the ethereal plane. Thus, as Gloriana changed into the 
Glomdoring Forest, so too did this part of ethereal plane. Many fae were 
tortured and died here and this place still holds great terror to them so 
that they will not willingly cross into its borders.
