12.7.3 NEXUS WORLDS
Nexus worlds are reflections of nexuses in aetherspace. Members of
communes and citizens of cities can travel through their nexus into these
Nexus Worlds. To enter a nexus world where you do not have access to a
nexus, you must travel through aetherspace. Nexus Worlds are also the
location where cities and communes can raise constructs to help their
members.
Nexus Worlds are primarily protected by the power of the nation's Nexus
of Power - however, there are times with the alignment of the celestial
bodies in the heavens creates fluctuations that temporarily weaken the
defenses of the Nexus Worlds - rendering them open for assault. Thus,
nations at war are often known to seek the sage advice of learned
Astrologers when planning their assaults.
There are two kinds of weakenings: major and mini weakenings. Major
weakenings are explained in HELP CONSTRUCTS. Mini weakenings occur
whenever the Moon is conjunct or opposite the astrological sign
associated with a nation, during which time a construct can only be
disabled rather than destroyed.
Note that Nexus Worlds are considered Aetherbubbles as Planes, but the
link between a citizen or commune member and their Nexus of Power
allows for some limited communication while on their Nexus World - but
this communication is difficult.
