PRIVATE LIBRARIES - Lusternia Online Help

16.1.2 PRIVATE LIBRARIES

An artisan may be commissioned to build a bookshelf, at which time a private
library is formed. A private library may hold up to 50 books and be organized
by subject, similar to that of the Great Libraries. However, Private libraries
do not charge fees, nor can they order extra copies. The checkout time of
private libraries is always set at one Lusternian day. There are three types
of private libraries:

o Private Guild Library
  - The Guild Administrator acts as the head librarian.
  - Archivists act as assistant librarians.
  - Can only be constructed within the guildhall.
  - All guild members automatically have public access.

o Private Order Library
  - The Order Steward acts as the head librarian.
  - Chroniclers act as assistant librarians.
  - Can only be constructed upon temple grounds.
  - All order members automatically have public access.

o Private Manse Library
  - The owner of the manse acts as the librarian.
  - Can only be constructed within the manse.
  - Everyone automatically has public access.
