12.2.10.9 TRYKO FOREST (CAVERNS OF THE HYFAE)
The Caverns of the Hyfae have been hidden within the Northern Passages of the
Undervault, home to a golden mushroom forest known as the Tryko Forest. The
Caverns of the Hyfae and the Tryko Forest have long been home to an elusive
group of beings known only as the hyfae, who appear as fungal humanoids. Long-
time friends of the kephera, the hyfae have been noted for their close
friendship with the Gardens of the Hive Queen Neferti, having taught the
Queen's Hive how to cultivate and grow mold and fungi for food and other
purposes. Though the hyfae are a remote type of fae, they have no affinity to
forests and claim no affiliation with Queen Maeve or Faethorn.
