12.3.4.2 The ruins of Armengar

Once known as Sar-Isbandia, later renamed by the Hadati descendants who settled it, the city of Armengar was reduced to its current, ruinous state during the Second Coming of Murmandamus when the naphtha mines beneath the city were set aflame. Now inhabited only by birds of carrion, a curious human archeologist and a moredhel slaver, little of the collapsed city is still accessible. Yet, it is said that the Temple of Prandur has been forged amongst the skeletal remnants of the city, in honor of the Burner of Cities and the wreckage from whence such a name might come.
