Sheep go "Baa"

Baa, Baa
My Little Sheep
Do you hold a time's tick,
To think before you idly bleat?
Ah, hmm?

The herd
Does it compel?
Drive you to excel or
Flee as the needs of others be?
How quaint.

And when
The shepherd crook
His staff upon the green
Mindless, chasing, for food obscene,
You run?

So nice
To have no thoughts
Of one's own to accept
If all you do is wait and watch
Others.

Do you
Follow the herd?
Obeying with no mind?
It's easy, sure, so bleat for me,
"Baa, baa!"

Penned by my hand on the 16th of Phaestian, in the year 607 AF.
