Poetry News Post #4181

you could be my everything

Written by: Nixxe Fol'ia, Scarlatti's Weaver of Imagination

Addressed to: Everyone

You have touched the very depths of my soul.
You make things clear where they are not.
You make me understand when I do not.
You calm me when all is lost and time stole.

I lived my life without you
and without you it seems I didn't live at all.
I love my life with you
and without you it seems empty and a pall.
There is no one like you
and without you the world is a darker call.

Penned by my hand on the 12th of Scarlatan, in the year 611 AF.
