Jade Empress

Now that Shallam was bereft,
They had no Te'Serra left.
Except for the Lady Lorielan,
Who was in the Crystal Realm then.

Brave few journeyed, no small cleft,
Now that Shallam was bereft,
But Hope prevailed,
And Lorielan they availed.

Summoning Her through special incantation,
Carrying the hopes of their nation,
Now that Shallam was bereft,
It was a heavy burden they heft.

She appeared, Jade Empress, in glory,
And Her voice was cold and hoary,
Abandoning them with refusal most deft,
Now that Shallam was bereft.

Penned by my hand on the 24th of Scarlatan, in the year 613 AF.
