Poetry News Post #4253

watery moments

Written by: Nixxe, Scarlatti's Weaver of Imagination

The noise and smell of life is carried in on the salt-air
Out in open sea, large creatures below lack feature
Ocean spray showering the Bough, wetting the wood through
Paintings bang about, trinkets strewn here and there
Home away from home, adventure and a fine crew
The things that stay with you

Penned by my hand on the 18th of Scarlatan, in the year 617 AF.
