Poetry News Post #4259

My dearly beloved

Written by: Scarlattan Xeran of Caer Witrin

Addressed to: Verona, Haiku Scribbler

I can't believe it's true
I once though I was better of alone
I know that I had been experiencing sadness
Extreme loneliness that hadn't been placated before
I once thought myself to have no future but loneliness
I now have nothing but joy, plenty of blissful joy
I eagerly await to see you arrive every month
You're voice is no less than a melody
a melody that I wish to keep for me
but also share with creation too
for you are my world, Verona

Penned by my hand on the 10th of Valnuary, in the year 618 AF.
