Fate and Fame

We so dare try resist our fate and fame,
and be so known as better and greater,
To mend and ameliorate our name.

Within yet all us men is known our lot,
that we are truly our finest traitor,
that we cannot escape echoes self-wrought.

Time casts without all most selfish dark deeds,
passed by and lost old saints enshrined later,
No man forgot, his grand last words but seeds.

Beacon of light, extends and wilts never,
The words all men do know, our grand pater:
Your fate and fame shall be true forever,
and a light unto eternity.

Penned by my hand on the 8th of Valnuary, in the year 620 AF.
