The Falcon

Written by: Somerled Ren'Thirok, Stormblade of Cyrene
Date: Saturday, March 23rd, 2013
Addressed to: Everyone

Silence broken as blades shear the night's calm
Ember and flame cut a path through the palpable black
Fierce, ember red eyes guide him to his master
Talons of blackened steel ready to grasp the familiar glove

Noble creature, ready to defend at a moment's notice
Shredding the flesh of foes with a focused intensity
Heeding my call, he soars to and from the ether without question
There is never a moment of distrust with such a companion

Sabaoth, my truest friend, unrelenting ally in battle
May those who seek to do me harm feel your fury
My war falcon, etched in flame, forged of my soul
May the blades of your wings stay ever sharp

Penned by my hand on the 8th of Ero, in the year 621 AF.
