An Eclipsing

My bare feet in the sand, a view of the endless, sparkling blue
The quick breeze awakens my skin to sensations of renewed vigour
The rising sun a massive, orange-yellow orb of a new day's hope
The gulls sing their hungry song as speck the sky above

In this onslaught of beautiful immersion, my thoughts turn to her
The singular entity in existence who may guide my heart
The whole of reason in my sea of names
Her mere being which calms my rage

Her eyes like diamonds reflecting the light of the moon
Her white, satin skin like the gentle, winter morning
Her enigmatic smile that stops me at once to gaze
Her voice that echoes true in a myriad of chaotic sounds

She hums the rhythm of my soul, if but a hair behind
Her heartbeat the cadence that carries me onward
The press of her every kiss, a moment in time worth dying for
Her hand in mine, a grip that I would destroy my blades to keep

Her hair in the breeze, brushing my face
Her every movement a living, breathing work of art
Her breath brings a rush of peaceful sensation
Her soul a prize that I would die a thousand times to preserve

She eclipses my thoughts
She is my center, my all
She becomes my soul, our beings intertwined
She is etched upon everything that I am

In the beauty, in the calm, in the restful sleep
In the chaos, in the madness, in the tedium
In the fear, in the confusion, in the unknown
She is there, she is peace, she is pure, true love

Penned by my hand on the 20th of Lupar, in the year 622 AF.
