Subj: Wrinkles

Wrinkles are things,
That tend to get in our way.
Even the kings,
Find them every day.

From clothes to plans,
To arrangements awry,
Across the sands,
You'll find them so sly.

But I kinda like them I really do,
They're really quite ace,
Though that sounds askew,
But I like the ones upon your face.

The lines tell a story,
Of memories past,
Your own true history,
Every last.

How often you've frowned,
Or laughed and smiled,
Your journeys around,
And if you were wild!

So I like your wrinkles,
Every last one,
Especially the crinkles,
When you smile a ton.

Penned by my hand on the 3rd of Phaestian, in the year 623 AF.
