Poetry News Post #4326

Sanctuary

Written by: Sultani

Addressed to: Everyone

Suffocated and surrounded by ceaseless snow
In misdirection cold winds blow
Shelter sought, someplace near must do
A mountain town slowly fades to view

Can it be? My fears disarmed
A haven of artistic charm
Materialized before awestruck eyes
From snow and ice to vibrant skies

A palette brought to life so fine
Only by the hands of a great divine
Oh Caer Witrin, please take me in
Your frozen beauty makes me whole again

Penned by my hand on the 13th of Chronos, in the year 627 AF.
