Poetry News Post #4336

and the world goes on

Written by: Nixxe, Scarlatti's Weaver of Imagination
Date: Sunday, June 30th, 2013
Addressed to: Everyone

when the waves curl
and the blue goes on
the oyster gives pearl
turquoise til dawn

that's when you're mine
when all is still
in candlelight we dine
the wine will spill

when I inhale you
I smell us
like morning dew
none to fuss

that's when I'm yours
in the hush
when the world slumbers
you make me blush

Penned by my hand on the 6th of Scarlatan, in the year 629 AF.
