Life in shades: the colourful version

The world spins around me,
Its edges blurred, the hues fading
Into nothing but a loud mess of paint.

My arms are outstretched,
Squinting eyes try to discern order
But there is none, only chaos.

A headache forms. Nausea sets,
This formless mess disgusts me.
And that is when it hits:

A sudden jolt, a fresh perspective,
Bold and bright, dark and winding,
Lines and curves and meanings!

The world of colours steady,
Edges redefined in mere moments,
Every hue rich in tone and quality.

Truly then did life begin,
Unfettered and full of possibilities.
All you have to do is SEE.

Penned by my hand on the 18th of Glacian, in the year 629 AF.
