A Deed To Remember

Written by: Reeve Gamoneterik Ikterik'tek

What do you say, to another day?
Of bleaching the bone, sinew and marrow,
For two sovereign's worth, songbird and sparrow.

Lilting refrain, unholy demise,
Surmise to say the pain encroaches.
Defy it to breathe and asphyxiate choices.

A noose hanging loosely, a bird singing sweetly,
I always return to the source of your beauty.

That Godly demeanour, that savouring taint,
The armour is fractured, how long must I wait?

For your guidance and truth are hardly the same,
As an issue I had with the forum, insane.

I know I am spent when the rocks fail to cast,
A Magi's incentive in diamondskin farce.

Forlorn for the wanting of something to drench
The treetops and benches, the place of my birth,
The plane where the Takers knew only my name.

Ikterik'tek rolls off the tongue like a cancer,
Disease is my weapon, design is my master,
And always in song do I spell a disaster.

My prelude's summation is two-breast apart,
Yearning for only a snipe in the Dark
To bring you closer to Him, not The End.

To bring you closer to me, not The Endbringer.

For Death spells out Lust in an Occultist's message,
That seeing, receiving, the Empress arouses.

Purple like sun and drenched like your skin
In sweat, beads of dew 'pon the face of your Sin.

To Him you are sworn and thus I deliver,
A corpse for your throne, and a deed to remember.

Penned by my hand on the 5th of Chronos, in the year 632 AF.
