Some say Life is a wonderful thing.
That it is a gift.

Precious.
Joyous.
Irreplaceable.

These people are wrong.
Life is not what they say it to be.

Lies.
Deceit.
Betrayal.

Life is a monster.
Life will chew you up and spit you out.

Beaten.
Broken.
Battered.

Life will leave you an empty shell,
And those around you to pick up the pieces.

Silent.
Hollow.
Shattered.

Life is cruel.
Life will take what you love most and tear it to shreds.

Heartbreak.
Loss.
Sorrow.

But above all, Life is all we have,
And that makes Life worth Living.
