The White Wolf Inside of Me

There is a darkness inside of me
It changes the more I let it be
to fight it off, my only goal
And then I hear the thunder roll

Crashing about me everywhere
Leading the charge I do not dare
Surrounded by the awesome might
I face a most horrific sight

The Rage begins to build and stew
Run for your lives if only you knew
I feel evil creeping into me
How can this happen? How can it be?

Now I grab my sword and dagger
From this dark path oh let me stagger
Plunging knife and sword into foe after foe
Watch them turn and run see how they go

Chase them down til none are left
Oh why don't I feel bereft?
Into the village bloodlust to sate
Gods have mercy for death is their fate

Rivers run red and my lust unabated
This dark soul all have hated
Wake from this nightmare I beg of you please
Plunge my sword between my armour eaves

Heart pounding blood spilling out
My lust abated without a doubt
vision bleary as I fall to my knees
Your forgiveness I ask of you please

Non deserving yet non wavering hate
You laugh as I fall to my fate
Head held high as I hit the ground
then you kneel, pray, and leave without a sound

Penned by my hand on the 3rd of Mayan, in the year 647 AF.
