Poetry News Post #4634

A lesson of the West

Hark! The distant beat of drums
As Evil's forces now march forth
One-two goes the booted thrum;
Sense the lives sent down to Thoth.

Embrace the sting of opened flesh
Remember well of Suffering's yoke
For with its touch, you start afresh
Find guidance in the Truths He spoke.

Penned by my hand on the 22nd of Glacian, in the year 648 AF.
