Poetry News Post #4638

Nature

Written by: Pathfinder Benson

Upon the forest, containing mighty trees
A light wind blows, where I wish to be
Contemplating that, the endless sea
Though where I walk, the earth meets me

Oh, how I yearn for the delight
Of witnessing that, a lovely sight
To feel the warmth of the sunlight
Or the cool breeze of darkest night

To sleep... To dream...
Easy enough, it would seem...

Penned by my hand on the 15th of Scarlatan, in the year 649 AF.
