I Thank Thee for My Wings

Written by: Aspirant Llyweith Le'Murzen-Windsong
Date: Sunday, March 16th, 2014
Addressed to: the Imp Lord

As I soar, the clouds so high
Quilted colour from the sky
Glimmering glory greets mine eye
I thank Thee for my wings

Twirling through the firmament
Winds beneath my wings outstretched
Glory of Your Realm sun sketched
I praise Thee for my wings

As my wings I gently preen
Feathered beauty a perfect scene
Quill in hand as I glean
the blessing of my wings

Through storm, strong wind and rain does fall
With nibmle ease, navigating it all
The Lord of Sky and Storms does call
For the gift that is my wings

Penned by my hand on the 10th of Sarapin, in the year 650 AF.
