Dance of the Forger

Rhythmic, the dance of the forger.
Steady the beat, solid like a heart.
The fall of the hammer, simple feat.
Rise up, stoke the flames higher.
Rush down, sparks fly, bright as stars.
Metal bends, glowly steel slowly takes form.
Mighty iron, relentless and cold.
Breathe in, strike.
Breathe out, repeat.
Straight and true, each blow precise.
Rigorous and strong, grip never faulter.
Pride, well deserved.
Hours spent on the craft.
Rest now, stalwart forger.
Silent the song of hammer and anvil.

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Daedalan, in the year 663 AF.
