Guilt

I have counted the breaths I have taken.
I have counted the seconds that have passed.
I have counted the days that have passed since you've been gone.

They call this guilt...
you died...when you were so much better then I.
I lived...when you were the brighter star.
you lifted people's spirts and all i can do is cause pain.
your the only girl i know who doesnt mind the rain.

you cried with the sun shined...and when clouds hid the stars.
you laughed at pain and snickered at all your scars.

you were never hopless even when in pain, you felt you had nothing to lose but everything to gain.

you were sun to my moon, the light in my darkness.
you gave me hope when i had none left and now that you are gone i will never hope again.

i miss you sister with every passing day, i miss you with all my heart and i am not proud to say...that if i could i would follow you...if i could i would take your place...if only to let the world see your beautiful face.....

Penned by my hand on the 25th of Miraman, in the year 664 AF.
