This is an ACROSTIC poem, and was the second of three used for my poetry finale in the Virtuosi house. Just read the first letter of each line to get the poem. Otherwise it's free verse in rhyme and metre.

You are such a wonderful leader, always looking
Out for our best interest. Without you, we'd be
Useless. All the other houses are jealous their
Leaders lack your glittery personality.
Oooh! Oooh! The Virtuosi are the best house!
Oooh! Oooh! The Virtuosi have the best leader!
Keeping in the traditions of the house you
Loved in the beginning, you led us
Into a new era. You helpd us to
Keep the traditions that we held so dear while
Easing us into new traditions that made us grow.
Perl is the best! She's better than all the rest!
Houses without a leader like you are lacking.
Excellent is just one of the many words that describe you.
Like a bright flame giving us a light to follow,
I am proud to call you friend, housemate, citymate,
And leader of the Virtuosi.
