come to the ball

come one and all
wear your fancies
ladies do the doll
do the dancies
try not to fall
gobble tart tansy's
disguised walk tall
spin and dropsies
echos in the hall
averting glances
gasping at gall
avoiding advances
flowering the wall
watching romances
ignore the pall

Penned by my hand on the 2nd of Scarlatan, in the year 676 AF.
