When the Wax Girl Sneezes

It is very disconcerting to have ones nose droop, but this morning mine did! Oh woe!

My nose wilted, gone flaccid

It sagged under eyes, a deflated balloon...

As if running from my face!

As if painted and smeared with a careless fingertip!

Yes, my nose drooped, it did! Why would I lie about such a thing?

Should I tie it in a knot to keep it from tripping my lips? (Eating a nose is NO joke)

Should I pin it in place by nares to cheeks?

Smelling aught not be such a laborious task, yet there I was, un-nosed.

Faced with such facial dilemma, what would become of me, who knows?

Will the rest of my features follow suit, giving chase to bridge gone sloppy?

Moldable as wax, I melt in the sun. Woe! Woe!

My poor verse over and miserable muzzle done.

Penned by my hand on the 25th of Daedalan, in the year 682 AF.
