Between Dark and Light

Written by: Trouble's Troubadour, Seraya, The Wandering Flame
Date: Thursday, April 23rd, 2015
Addressed to: Everyone

In the Void of senses,
between the dusk and dawn,
devoid of all defences,
my shattered soul is drawn

to join the dance of dragon wings
beneath Moon's smoothing light
to cast aside the puppet strings
and dance with them in flight

By light of Moon, dividing lines
are smoothed, erased, dissolved;
truth and lies are intertwined
and differences resolved

In that silver-shadowed space
I heed Illusion's call
to lose my self and find my place
between the none and all

For none is all and all is none
and all together we are one
Between the sunset and the dawn
the tatters of my soul live on

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Aeguary, in the year 682 AF.
