Earthborn

Addressed to: Everyone

Heaven's earthborn oldest was my mother.
She who ranged the stars across the heavens
wrote my name in the dust of a million year-old dawn,
inscribed my future in the bones of dragons
still waiting to be born,
sowed the seed of Chaos in my soul.

It is Her hand that carves the mountains
from the valleys, Her voice that gives
the raging wind its howl, Her tune that
sets the oceans dancing in their beds,
Her blood flows in my veins and through
the rivers of the world. We are One.

Every grain of sand is etched with my likeness
Every drop of water holds my essence
Every breath of air carries my song
Every flame burns brighter with the passions of my soul.

I am Priestess, Empress, Strength,
maiden, mother, crone,
the Siren's song, Scarlatti's muse,
the eternal whispered promise
to every silent longing ever known,

Penned by my hand on the 5th of Phaestian, in the year 692 AF.
