Hidden Rose

Walking through the plains
The fields and the gardens
I saw many rosy red stains
I never know what they were guarding

Years upon years I have passed
Still walking those lands
Never once I thought to ask
What treasure are you hiding

Then one starlit night
My heart began to stutter
I knew not what was right
I followed the butterflies flutter

There suddenly to my eyes
A gem, a beautiful rose
Darker than the darkest night
My love quickly arose

These rosy red stains
What they were hiding I could see
That beautiful black rose
Finally looked at me

Penned by my hand on the 20th of Ero, in the year 714 AF.
