Poets who write much and say nothing

The whispering maddness curls and wakes,
some banal verses is all it takes,

To scar the mind, rape the soul,
Was this the dreadful poets goal?

No spark, no drive, no surprise?
The maddness rises behind my eyes!

The Cacaphony of Maddness shrieks!
MAKE IT STOP! I BEG OF YOU MAKE IT STOP!

If you are in fact so vain, that the maddness has caused you pain,
Then stop writiting! You are to blame.

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Aeguary, in the year 719 AF.
