The Sound of War

Sounds of digging echo through the land
The Tsol'teth have come in the Black Wave
Second time, they our lives to demand
Lest we unite and the land indeed save

Sounds of blades, punches, and blasts
Goblinoids, ogres, beetles, and shadows
Never ending, it seems that this will last
Until tis us the Black Wave does swallow

Sounds of cheers and joy, cries of pain
The splinter falls vary far and wide
Valiant hearts their hope never to wane
Yet there are some who run and hide

Sounds of books and discussions being given
Yet some about their lives do forget
That unless we all to keep surviving are driven
Our future is over as we know it

Penned by my hand on the 25th of Scarlatan, in the year 725 AF.
