The Verdant Plinth

Some of you may recall a time when the Druids were pledged to the solitude of the forest. Their practices then matter as little to me as they do now, but the separation of the village of Eleusis and the Circle of Druids was present.

Then again, some of you may not recall such a time.

Oblivion recalls this time.

The Verdant Plinth was spared the fate of the other Icons of Nature due to a joint decision by the then Overseer, Tanris Rozzan, and the Archons of Ashtan. It was decided that the Druids, not being of the village of Eleusis, were not worth the destruction that was being wrought to the Eleusian icons. Times have changed and it appears that our reasons for staying our hand have found solace in the Void.

Let this be an example to all demonstrating the inevitability of the end of Creation. Chaos and Oblivion will reign free as this plane, and all others, are consumed by eternal nothingness.

All hail the Devouring Madness!

Overseer Dunn Lichlord, Herald of Ruin

Penned by my hand on the 20th of Mayan, in the year 628 AF.
