Your words

Jhui Ta'sa,

Save yourself further embarrassment, and cease your petty chest-pounding. Indeed, you managed to break out gates and kill some guards with seven or eight Divine favours and a horde of thirty or forty mindless tagalongs at your back. It is also true that you succeeded in the Bandersnatch with a group that was nearly as large as your capture-the-flag group was. Victory was gifted to you on a silver platter in the tumble races, and you bested Iakimen in the final challenges.

You did well, and congratulations would be in order, if you did not literally sell your soul, your morals and your integrity for the such a victory and the illusion of strength. You may remind us of when you killed guards with seven truefavours and thirty or forty people behind you all you like. It is not a sore point for us, rather, it illuminates the frail, egotistical man you have become in the North.

Take heed, Sapience, at what happens when you sacrifice everything for victory, like Jhui has. Your mind rots. Delusions of grandeur seep through every pore. You can no longer speak without praising yourself. Indeed, you have been victorious, Jhui, but at what cost? Your citizens celebrated at your ceremony by tongue-bathing eachother and showing off their shirts - humiliating themselves and your city in the process. You have lost the respect of many, replaced by the admiration of those who can barely form a coherent sentence.

Was the Staff of Nicator worth calling these people your allies? Was it worth reducing yourself to little more than a rabid dog, snapping at all he sees? It is a tragedy, Jhui Ta'sa, and yet, redemption is yet available. Cast aside the shackles of madness you have burdened yourself with, cease your mindless slaughter, renounce your ties to Oblivion, and learn of the Light. You may still become a worthy man rather than yet another hedonistic heathen, though redemption will be a journey far more difficult than acquiring the Staff - it will be something you will earn on your own.

If your fragile ego is so easily offended by Truth, I would be happy to face you should you desire a chance at vengeance, if only for a chance of humbling you.
