It is to our great embarrassment that you have discovered our intentions to harm Nature with this nebulous third-party, Malak "Tater" Aramar. However, I assure you that the Crown quickly saw its error and abandoned the pursuit of his heretical tuberoid prophecies.

However, if you refer to the Ice Mage, Maklak, than Hashan did indeed align itself with him during the Conclave's worldwide Reckoning, just as Eleusis did. Fire and Ice are both forces of Nature and Hashan simply chose the one it is far more accustomed to. If you find this a convenient excuse to cut what shriveled ties remain with the Crown, so be it.

Nonetheless, I speak now on behalf of Lord Twilight, Savior of the Forest, and His Great Work. If any being is concerned not only with the preservation of Nature, but ultimately its restoration to pristine perfection, it is the Dark Father. It was not so long ago that the followers of Darkness and the Cataclysm worked in accord to accomplish wonderful feats. It would not be in Nature's best interest to so lightly throw away such a potent and beneficial bond.
