I will keep this missive brief and to the point as my time grows shorter by the month.

I withdrew Eleusis from the War and official hostilities that I began. I take sole responsibility for both actions. It is truth that Eleusis was unable to meet your demands. Your terms were ones our oaths prevent us from accepting. While Mhaldor have always proven themselves to be worthy enemies, this is a fight that will be fought for as long as there are those of Nature who stand in your way... and we will stand in your way.

For cessation of exterminations, to last a set period of five years, Eleusis declines the terms presented by Mhaldor. We will not entertain further negotiations.

Regarding the matter of the abhorrent public branding of the Wildwood Queen. Her reasons are Her own for accepting such a brand, however I am the one responsible in both word and deed for this war, and I have always been.

I invite you to a duel, Tyrannus. Should you win, the head you covet from my shoulders, along with it's counterpart, will be yours to do with as you will. However, should I win, Lady Gaia?s branding is transferred to me.
