Grand Father Jacen Caedus,

I have not been able to refrain to reply your latest post. At first, I found it quite amusing that you state "The Crown continues to stand as a testament to the endurance of Darkness", when it is commonly known that it continues to stand with the protection of Ashtan's army or would have been wiped off Sapience for long.

Do not be mistaken, to comment your army's skills is not the purpose here. If the general progress of your City has been noted by the West, what I most personnaly note is that your post sounds with fervent dedication to your Divine, when a Regent did advertise a few months ago about Hashan's lack of fanaticism. Curiously enough, your Faith is what seems to origniate the noticeable raise of Hashan, when your "former, feeble selves", as you state, were actually ruled by this Regent.

Of course, the words of Lord Vayne Trismegistus did not fool anyone with more lucidity than a novice fresh from the flame - greetings to you too, Silas Voice of Light - and, as you probably noted aswell, were simply the public admission of his furious desire of apathy for the Crown. It is only unfortunate that you urge other Cities about their "corrupt institutions" when you are yet unable to purge your own.

Nonetheless, the main reason of my reply is your use of the word "Truth". If it at first sounded equally amusing from a follower of a Divine of Deception, I wished however to take the opportunity to discuss this precise word.

Mhaldor, Targossas, Ashtan, and now through you, Hashan all use the word "Truth" to cover various concepts linked to their Faith. Nonetheless, only Mhaldor use "The Seven Truths", and not simply "Truth" or "The Truth". The Seven Truths are both quite simple to understand, and an immensely profound way of life. Unfortunately, even after hundreds of years of reflection, it is still difficult for the vast majority of people to reach them.

Mortal purpose is to purge impurity from the world, but they are impure themselves. In your impure mortal state, you cannot understand pure "Truth", as you do not have the infinite understanding of a Divine. To claim otherwise is arrogant self delusion. That is why the Lord gifted us with "The Seven Truths".

The Seven Truths of Evil summarises the basic motivation and guidelines the lives of every Mhaldorian and followers of Lord Sartan revolve about. It forms the rules to our actions and reasons behind our existence. The Mhaldorians are called to consciously participate in universal perfection, and better Creation to aim for the purity of the Divine.

Would it be the noticeable events like a welcame change of Speaker in the Village after a war the former one pitifully lead, the rise of a structured and dedicated new City of Good on the ruins of Shallam, or as you mentioned "aggression against the Crown has birthed a movement that grows stronger each day." - or unsignificant events in appearance, which are in my belief equally significant, there is only one constant: Life reveals itself through Oppression, and I Suffer to transcend.

Real understanding in spiritual matters is the result of much bitter fighting, of suffering, spiritual agony and soul passion. Life itself would have no meaning if there was no fighting on all planes, if all was smooth and monotonous. Everything fights in nature. Every plant fights to get more sunshine, every animal fights for food. The angels themselves fight. Constant struggle on all planes to which it has access is the birthright of Creation.

Our enemies deny it, but in fact, Evil impulses the process Creation uses to create. Evil is the cosmic fecundity, the cutting blade of the sculptor's knife. Creation does not abhor Evil, it embraces it. With it, Creation moved life to greater heights of organization, intricacy, and power.

His Eternally,
Ambassador Orzaansyn I'llur, Sartai Nunciate.

Penned by my hand on the 25th of Daedalan, in the year 667 AF.
