A glorious season's greetings to you all,

I write today to extend an invitation.

As the chorus of the Miraman Orphean Serenade, in the year 668 AF, fades in your ears, the Magnificent Mayaween Masquerade Ball will be upon us. The brave masked souls who dare venture forth will find the festivities amidst the fens.

Celebrating the spirit realm and the ghostly denizens who may be walking among us, those who attend will be treated to food and drink along with a night of music, mystery, and perhaps even a little danger.

In order to facilitate this grand event, the minions of our benevolent and (in-keeping with the theme) anonymous benefactor will take to the lands.

Contests large and small over the coming months will offer the chance for each of you to earn a ticket. These will be accepted by myself, as I'm a mask maker, in order to grant you the visage you most desire and, with it, entry upon the night of the Magnificent Mayaween Masquerade Ball.

Keep your eyes peeled, citizens of Sapience, this Mayaween is shaping up to be frightfully delightful.
