Victory

"Dread" Emissary,

You fought admirably. You did secure two venomlocks against me, and I did bid my angel to cleanse me - as they were not truelocks, since you lack disruption. I do not make a habit of conceding, although it seems you don't mind doing so. If you consider victory to be almost killing, you did indeed defeat me. Personally, I consider victory slaying your opponent. Nevertheless, the outcome of the duel is irrelevant.

You fought well, but my point was that I do not fear you. You may claim that I was dishonourable or whatever you may like, but I did fight you, and I would fight you again. The purpose of cleansing myself was to give myself time to analyze your tactics and develop a countermeasure. It worked. In any event, I will stand against you, and I will not give up.

You are strong, Xinna. It is a pity you are not strong enough to serve Good.

In service to the Bloodsworn,
Tesha al Ashtad

Penned by my hand on the 20th of Phaestian, in the year 668 AF.
